Akademi performs at St. Bart’s 900th anniversary, 17 & 19 Oct

Akademi was invited to perform at the 900 year anniversary celebrations of St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London.

As part of their Dance for better wellbeing initiative, artists Aanchal Gupta and Showmi Das, performed in public spaces of the hospital for patients, carers, visitors and NHS staff offering a moment of respite through the beauty and rhythm of South Asian dance.

The dance styles presented at the events were Kathak and Bollywood.
