Trustees’ Week 2017: Akademi launches search for new board members

With Trustees’ Week (13-17 November 2017) showcasing the vital work of charity boards, Akademi has launched a recruitment drive to fill several vacancies on our board.

Charity trustees play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about an organisation’s future. Akademi has a committed board of skilled trustees, drawn from all walks of life. As we approach our 40th anniversary in 2019, we are seeking a number of exceptional individuals with strategic vision and a passion for the arts to support the next phase of our work.

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with skills and experience in the following areas:

• PR, marketing and audience development
• Digital innovation
• Private sector fundraising and philanthropy
• Impact measurement and evaluation
• Arts in health and community settings
