Akademi has been been organising South Asian dance inspired tea dances in collaboration with London boroughs, such as Camden, Brent and Waltham Forest for several years now.

Our dance artists have been working closely with professional musicians and DJs to design and deliver these sessions at various community centres. Akademi has also delivered specialised tea dances for older adults who are living with dementia.
