Akademi @ Folk Educators Development Day 2023

We were delighted to deliver a workshop on ‘South Asian folk dance for young people with special education needs and disability (SEND)’ for creative practitioners at the Folk Education Development Day organised by English Folk Dance and Song Society. The session was led by Anusha Subramanyam who is also a lead artist for our Reach Out and Reveal programme.

The event had an interesting line-up of dance workshops featuring clog and street dance for young people as well!
