We’re excited to bring a trial of our Dance Well movement session to a new care home in Tottenham.

The new initiative, tailored for wheelchair users and those with reduced arm and leg mobility, including residents living with dementia, represents a fresh approach to combating social isolation through the therapeutic power of dance and music.

The program will be led by Kathak artist Archita Kumar, who brings years of experience in accessible movement therapy in the care home setting.

The trial sessions will focus on gentle, adaptive movements that can be performed from wheelchairs or seated positions, accompanied by carefully selected music to encourage engagement and emotional connection. The programme specifically addresses the social isolation that many care home residents experience, using group movement activities to build community bonds and shared experiences.
