Professional journey
A recent graduate of MSc Psychology of the Arts, Neuroaesthteics and Creativity, with a strong background as a Bharatanatyam dancer from Chennai, I have had extensive experience working in arts marketing, arts education and community outreach initiatives. Starting in social work and community engagement in India, and gradually moving into arts education, marketing, and administration in the UK, I’ve worked in both freelance and part-time roles with organisations by supporting inclusive creative programmes, promoting South Asian art forms, and creating content for social media.
Now at Akademi, I’m building on this experience by supporting internal administration, marketing, and general support, while continuing to learn and grow within the South Asian arts and culture sector.
Role at Akademi
I look after administrative duties and support the team across varied responsibilities along with supporting the marketing and social media channels presence for the organisation.
