Performances & talk for CW+ at Wellcome Collection, 28 November

CW+ charity organised an evening of creative and interactive performances at Wellcome Collection, in partnership with Akademi and Pluck.

The evening showcased the CW+ Arts for All programme in relation to the exhibition by Jason Wilsher-Mills ‘Jason and the Adventure of 254’ which reimagines the gallery space as a ward environment. One was able to explore the exhibition through South Asian storytelling and dance, immersive puppetry, captivating harp music, and joyful shared song. There was also an opportunity to learn more, make and participate across this variety of exciting artforms. Akademi artist Jesal Patel talked about her work as part of our Dance Well programme at the hospitals supported by CW+.

This was a relaxed event, open to all levels and abilities.

7:30pm Akademi, South Asian dance performances by Jesal Patel, Shyam Dattani and Saloni Saraf.
