Dance Programme Coordinator
Part Time: 21 hours per week (Initially a 3 month contract with the possibility of applying for permanent post)
Salary: up to £22,000 per annum, pro rata

Akademi is a highly acclaimed dance organization that specializes in artist development and producing innovative performances in unusual spaces. Over the past few years we have worked in Southbank Centre, Trafalgar Square and across the country to develop artists and bring South Asian Dance to new audiences.
The Dance Programme Coordinator is a new role that will focus on artist development, events and productions. Working closely with the Director and Dance Director you will organise events, productions, workshops and symposiums.
You must have expertise in artist development and planning, putting on and monitoring arts/dance events or productions either in venues or at site specific locations. You will have good project management and organisation skills. You must have a passion for dance and a willingness to learn about South Asian dance.
