Akademi provides regular training opportunities for freelance dancers and artists. These are master classes, practical sessions or information days and updates that are crucial to the career development of dance education artists.
We hope to offer training in the following areas in the coming months.
- Working with people with challenging behaviour
- Working with people with special educational needs
- Dance and disability
We also lead In-service Training (INSET) workshops and courses for teachers, group leaders and carers. These can be built for larger projects to highlight links to the National Curriculum, and to ensure teachers and other professionals get the most from our work and are fully equipped to provide follow-up work.
