In a project entitled Moving Sites, from September 2003 to March 2004, groups were invited from educational and community settings in Brent, Ealing and Barking and Dagenham to work together and experience South Asian dance and related art forms. They created dance, video, photography and written work displays as a permanent record of the project for the local and wider community. Akademi worked closely with each of the four boroughs to plan and develop the project to complement existing arts activities.
