Akademi has some highly experienced dance education practitioners who have carefully devised work for under-fives. These sessions are specially commissioned and are aimed at introducing babies and toddlers to rhythms, rhymes and movements, based on animals, journeys and fascinating characters from Hindu mythology. Nursery managers and teachers work with us to ensure that the very young have a gentle but inspiring time - with lots of smiling and enthusiastic and original choreography seen from participants!
Recent sessions have been based on the train journeys of India, animals from the deepest forests of South Asia and characters from well-loved tales.
