Urban Vani at the Southbank Centre

Professional artists led and encouraged 16 to 19-year-olds to express themselves in workshops using dance, music, theatre and film. The young people explored their talents and developed artistic skills. Sessions were designed to build self-esteem, increase motivation to learn, and to inspire. This dynamic multi-arts project ended in October 2007 and was funded by the Learning and Skills Council. It was primarily aimed at young people who were non-participating or at risk of exclusion.
