In March 2002, Akademi presented South Asian Aesthetics Unwrapped! at the Linbury Studio Theatre, Royal Opera House. The day brought together a top-drawer collection of contributors to explore and celebrate South Asian aesthetics – their contemporary expression, global location, hybrid reality and classical context.
