Information on and for the UK South Asian Dance profession
southasiandance.org.uk is a regularly updated listings website where you can browse and search for the latest information on South Asian dance performances, training and other events happening in the UK.
Artists, teachers and promoters of South Asian dance can become members of the site and add details of their events for free.
Akademi holds a detailed database of information on organisations and individuals that support or work within the UK South Asian dance and arts sectors.
It can be accessed by members of the public and profession to find classes, teachers, dancers and choreographers, or for targeted publicity to promote South Asian dance events.
Akademi also has a large reference and resource library on South Asian dance which includes books, videos, photographs, sound recordings and costumes. These resources can be viewed by appointment.
